The results are in for Nassau County's 5th District, and incumbent Debra Mulé retained her seat. In unofficial results on Election Night, Mulé, a Democrat, received 7,127 votes, with 83 percent of precincts reporting. Her challenger, Republican Daniel Salamone, received 3,355 votes.
