The Foundation of Interventional & Therapeutic Endoscopy’s inaugural meeting will be hosted on May 23rd and Hilton San Diego Bayfront. The Foundation of Interventional & Therapeutic Endoscopy’s inaugural meeting will be hosted by the Governing Board, Directors & Founders on May 23rd, 2022. FITE’s mission is to advance healthcare outcomes by enhancing the field of interventional and therapeutic endoscopy to provide cost effective, safe and minimally invasive procedures. FITE is the first and only organization solely dedicated to interventional and therapeutic endoscopy. The faculty will briefly discuss the mission, vision and 5-year goals followed. The faculty will also present updates in interventional EUS techniques, procedures and devices followed by discussion. The inaugural meeting serves as important add-on Digestive Disease Week (DDW) session to provide interventional endoscopists with a therapeutic endoscopy specific forum; and serves as an integral mode for interventional endoscopists to interact with experts.
