Join Rivertree Singers & Festival orchestra for a weekend of music featuring the Duruflé Requiem in a beautiful historic Greenville church. Join us for the 7th annual Rivertree Singers & Friends Choral Festival. We will rehearse and perform in the beautifully renovated historic White Oak Baptist Church. Founded in 1895, the church is a Greenville landmark featuring a beautifully restored interior and magnificent organ. The weekend will feature engaging rehearsals in the event venue, a Festival Gala on Friday night, and an inspiring opportunity to perform with a large choir and orchestra in the Festival concert featuring the Duruflé Requiem. Black shoes. Floor-length black dress is also fine. No sleeveless, please. Black collared shirt and black dress pants and shoes for men. *Singers are responsible to secure their own copy of the Requiem score. Singers must use the Durand Edition, but may purchase the score containing only choral parts or the score containing the choral and organ accompaniment.
