FREEPORT, NY — A Roosevelt man was arrested on Monday after police say he was caught robbing a Freeport business.
According to police, officers on patrol were flagged down by a person at 10:15 p.m. who said someone was breaking into the Lucky Deli and Grill, located at 453A North Main St. When the officers arrived, police say they found broken glass at the front of the deli and a man standing behind the cash register.

Williams is charged with third-degree burglary and second-degree criminal mischief. He is scheduled to be arraigned today.
