HICKSVILLE, NY — One person was injured after being hit by a car in Hicksville Monday afternoon. Nassau County police said the incident happened at 12:23 p.m. on North Broadway, near Nevada Street. Police said one person was taken to a hospital, but their injuries did not appear to be serious.
