MANASSAS, VA — A man was stabbed in the City of Manassas on Saturday night, according to police. In a separate incident, someone fired gunshots at several apartments. Authorities have not announced any arrests in connection with the shooting or the stabbing.
The shooting occurred around 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. At that time, officers responded to the 9500 block of Coggsbill Drive to investigate.
In their report, the police department said several gunshots were fired from a vehicle and hit three different apartments. Nobody was harmed in the shooting, police said.
Authorities believe the shots came from a black sedan, possibly a Toyota or a Honda. The police department said the driver of the sedan was wearing a ski mask.
The stabbing occurred around 11:45 p.m. on Saturday in the 9400 block of West Street. Authorities said that a victim was stabbed during an altercation with four suspects. The police department only identified the victim as a male.
In their report, police said that the suspects were wearing ski masks or head scarves over their faces. The suspects fled the area before police officers arrived on the scene.
Authorities said the victim's injuries were not life-threatening. They also said that the stabbing was an isolated incident.
