Join Kim Haasarud (Mixologist) and Erin Mooney (florist, Buckaroo PHX) as they workshop participants through perfecting the Mint Julep. Join us on Saturday, April 30th for a workshop on the Artistry of the Mint Julep. Mint is in abundance this time of year and Derby Day is right around the corner. As a prelude to Garden Bar’s Derby Day party, we are doing a special workshop in perfecting this quintessential spring-time cocktail. Kim Haasarud will be demo’ing this cocktail, talking about its history and all that goes into making the Perfect Mint Julep. We will also be joined by Erin Mooney of Buckaroo PHX, a local florist, in making the mint Julep beautiful with flowers and herb blossoms. Woodford Reserve is helping to sponsor the event. If you love Woodford Reserve, Mint Julep and flowers ... you don’t want to miss this workshop! Participants will be making their own mint juleps with expert guidance and instructions and taking home a few gifts to boot! Tickets are $50. Max of 25 people.
