Residents concerned about election integrity are regulars during the public comment portions of the Tarrant County Commissioners Court's weekly meetings.
Now, the commissioners are inviting those with doubts about the election process to attend an April 26 open forum where they will try to address their concerns.
The meeting will focus on answering questions posed by residents to separate fact from fiction, said Heider Garcia, Tarrant County elections administrator. A prepared presentation will address questions sent to the county ahead of the meeting and describe the elections process in detail.
"We, as a society, have to be able to sit down and agree to disagree and find ways to move forward," Garcia said. "I think it's just good public service to be open, to be transparent and to say let's just discuss these things openly."
