MONROE, CT — A 21-year-old New Milford man was killed late Friday night when the motorcycle he was riding crashed into a tree on Monroe Turnpike, reported The Monroe Sun. Daniel Engstrom was taken to St. Vincent's Hospital following the 11:20 p.m. crash, where he succumbed to his injuries. According to authorities, Engstrom was traveling south on Monroe Turnpike when he lost control of the motorcycle near Old Zoar Road, veered off the road and struck the tree. Read The Monroe Sun story.
