Dear friends,On May 21, 2022, Jim Donovan will offer a very special in-person rejuvenation retreat called "The Wisdom of Rhythm" at the Center of Harmony Opera House from 9 AM-2:30 PM. This is Jim's first local in-person retreat event since 2019! This rejuvenating retreat is for any who loves the spiritual side drumming and sound healing and is looking for an immersive and meaningful experience. During our time together, you'll discover how to use rhythm and sound for better health and personal transformation. There are only 60 total seats for this event which will be sold on a first come-first serve basis. Schedule: 8:45 AM Arrival, Important: Please park in the Moose Lodge Parking lot across the street and not in the lot beside the Opera House. 9 AM- 11:45 - Program Part 1 Lunch Break 11:45 AM -1:15 PM 1:15 PM- 2:30 PM Program Part 2 2:30 - 3 PM Social time We recommend bringing a lunch. There is also a coffee shop downstairs that serves food as well. ⏰ Your price: $79 by May 9, 2022 or $99 thereafter (Space permitting) Beginners warmly welcomed. A limited number of drums provided. Space is limited to 60 participants. Our last event sold out in advance and so we recommend securing your spot early. There are no refunds, however, tickets are transferable. Beginners are warmly welcomed. About the presenter:Jim Donovan M.Ed. is a professional musician, Assistant Professor and Director of Music and Wellness at Saint Francis University and TEDx speaker. His mission is to share the healing power of music through education and performance. He specializes in placing music and wellness programs in organizations who focus on people with disabilities and people recovering from addiction. Donovan performs with his band Sun King Warriors and was a founding member of the 3-time platinum band Rusted Root.
