Chappellet Winery Estate Engineer This position is responsible for the general upkeep of the winery and the property. This position requires some general knowledge of maintenance, repair, grounds upkeep and trouble shooting. Responsibilities include: - Electrical repair - Plumbing - Grounds keeping - Repair work to building structures, outdoor facilities and general work sites - Manage on site utilities, and manage all on-site repairs with city and local vendors (PG&E, phone companies, delivery drivers, contractors) - Facilitate ongoing maintenance of estate with owners This position requires physical ability to work an operating winery both during operating hours and non-operating hours. This is an on-stie position requiring hands on performance of duties. Physical requirements: - Able to lift 50-100 lbs - Able to work in uneven terrain - Able to work in both hot and cold temperatures - Able to use tools and work equipment - Ability to traverse warehouse, vineyard, storage and office environments This position is full time salaried exempt, with generous benefits and competitive salary
