Cooks needed for Vegandale Festival Saturday, May 21st

We are a vegan heavy metal themed sandwich company called Snackrilege and we're coming from Portland to share our delicious vegan food with the lovely people of South Florida! We need to hire 4 EXPERIENCED cooks to work the grill and assemble sandwiches at Vegandale Saturday, May 21st at historic Virginia Beach Park. Must have a line experience and a food handler's card. Shift should last 10-12 hours-- It depends on how busy we are, so hopefully it will last that long, but there is a possibility it might be a bit shorter. The shift begins at 9:00 a.m. and typically goes to about 8:00 p.m. This will be the 16th time we have participated in the Vegandale festival so clearly we love doing them! The better the team, the more fun the festival! The ideal candidate : Must be able to do a phone or Google meet interview. Must work well under pressure and be able to multitask. Good sense of humor is a must. Must be able to stand for long periods of time, lift 50 lbs, and change a propane tank. Knowledge of vegan food is a plus. This is the first festival in Miami since the pandemic, so we're hoping to be busy and not too hot! We try to have as much fun as possible, make as much money as possible, and promote the good word of veganism! Would love to have you help us if that sounds like your thing! Please keep in mind parking is limited so if public transportation is possible please consider that. Remember, this is a one day job. We will pay you cash, you'll get food, drinks at the end of the day if that's your thing, and merch. This is a one-day position.
