IHR is currently offering a signing bonus of $1,500 and a Total Annual Compensation Package valued at over $65,000 for this position depending on skills and expertise. We are looking for a Site Hand who will act as an assistant to the Site Superintendent by helping to ensure the continuity of multiple bathroom and kitchen projects, mainly in the north Seattle neighborhoods. A desire to learn skills in the remodeling industry is a must. Carpentry, drywall, paint, and selective demo are just a few skills you will pick up. You’ll actively learn our process and systems, including navigating our job site build binder, job site protection, dust barrier installation, and punch list tasks. The ideal candidate is dependable, punctual, coachable, and takes pride in the quality of their work. They have excellent communication skills and enjoy solving problems and making customers smile. Requirements: *Handle and transport equipment, materials, and selections *Complete punch lists provided by Site Superintendent that consist of any aspect of a remodeling project from framing to finish carpentry *Setting up Jobsite Protection using Ram board, Zip Doors, Dust Barries, Dust Extractors, etc. *Assist in maintaining a clean and organized job site daily *Keep inventory of IHR tools *Be proactive in organizing and keeping supplies stocked in IHR logo van *Assist subcontractors on site Who you Are: *A crafty person who is good with your hands *Interested in learning and practicing essential carpentry skills on the job *Comfortable using hand and power tools along with the ability to learn how to use new ones *Passion for customer service and delighting others with your work *Committed to learning, problem-solving and continuous improvement *Trustworthy and respectful of others and personal/company property *Take initiative, have a high level of enthusiasm for the industry, and desire to grow skills *Team player when needed and prefers to work independently once efficient at a task *Valid WA State Driver’s license with insurable driving record required *Ability to work from ladders at heights of 4-8 ft regularly, and up to 22 ft occasionally *Ability to lift 35-50lbs regularly and 75lbs occasionally *Able to easily navigate smartphone technology Benefits: *Salary $52,000k plus additional compensation list below for a Total Salary Package valued at over $65,000 $1,500 Signing Bonus *Performance-Based Annual Bonus *Comprehensive Health, Dental, & Vision Insurance *Paid Holidays (10 Days) *Paid Time Off (3 Weeks) *Includes office closure between Christmas and New Year *401(k) retirement savings plan with employer match *Use of IHR Logo Van for Daily Assignments *IHR Tool Box to perform daily tasks *Uniforms including Shirts, Hats, and Jackets *Coffee & Snack Bar
