Indie Dream Pop Rock Artist Looking for Live Band - Drums, Bass, Keys

Seattle WA

Description

Hey! I have an album out under the artist name Early Internet and I'm new to the Seattle area from Los Angeles. I'm looking for musicians who can help me play the songs on my album live in a full band setting at shows. You can hear the songs on Spotify, Apple Music, Bandcamp, YouTube, etc. but generally I gravitate toward indie rock, indie pop, dream pop, shoegaze genres through a lens of nostalgia and guitar pedals. I am a fan of artists / bands like Hatchie, The Cranberries, early Death Cab for Cutie, My Bloody Valentine, Hazel English, The Cure, early Jimmy Eat World, The Replacements, The Sundays, James, The National, Julien Baker, Jesus and Mary Chain, Beach House, Slowdive, Frightened Rabbit, Cocteau Twins, Johnny Marr, Pronoun, Soccer Mommy, Mitski, Echo and The Bunnymen, Gin Blossoms, Sunny Day Real Estate - I could go on endlessly. Venn diagram would be early aughts indie, 90s pop alt rock a la Empire Records soundtrack, 80s John Hughes movies, some classic emo (not mall emo) - all wrapped up in a chill, melodic Crunchwrap supreme. The album is less than a year old. It's been reviewed / played on KEXP, charted on NACC, and received some press coverage. Currently sits around 30,000 monthly listeners on Spotify. I'm recording my second album in LA end of May / early June and will be looking to play more shows once it's released. So far, I have played a near sold out show at The Cafe Racer in Capitol Hill and I have a tentative show in the works at Chop Suey. Also, another booked for Saturday, July 30th. I intend to tour regionally, nationally, and internationally as well. I historically have had a rotating cast of musicians / whoever is available / friends, etc. so there is no need to commit to any and every opportunity as I can always find another musician to fill your slot when you're unavailable, but would be nice to find some musicians who are down to tour or play more consistently around Seattle where I am now based. If you are in your 20s - 30s and maybe even early 40s, don't have a drug or alcohol problem, are fun to hang with and are interested in music to the extent that it stretches beyond a casual hobby for you, then I'd like to hear some of your stuff! You can find links to all my music and watch my music videos on earlyinternetmusic. com. Thanks for reading!
