We need Curbside and Trailhead Coordinators/Ambassadors $18 to $20 an hour- must be 18 years old and We need Drivers- $20 to $22 per hour plus tips. Green Ride Boulder has been awarded a 5-year contract with Boulder County to operate a Park N Ride shuttle from Nederland High school to the Hessie Trailhead. This is a seasonal service that runs from Memorial Day Weekend until the second Weekend in October. We operate Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays Mondays- 12 to 14 hours a day depending on the day. We have morning to afternoon shifts, and afternoon to early evening shifts. We can even carve out some mid-day hours We have 3 types of ambassador/coordinator jobs. Curb Coordinator- Loading and unloading hikers at the Park N Ride at Nederland High School, talking about the area, handing out maps and information and keeping the lines organized. Permit and Traffic controller- working with the park ranger to monitor parking passes and traffic loads. Trailhead Parking Coordinator. Working at the trailhead, communicating with the Rangers and the rest of the Green Ride team about the parking and traffic situations, doing hourly parking counts and giving out trail info. We want chill, kind, nice half-full people. Local knowledge is helpful. We load and carry people and dogs to a trailhead. They are here for a fun, stress-free time and so are we. The Driving positions are for driving a 14-passenger shuttle to and from the Park N Ride at Nederland High School to the Hessie Trailhead- about 4 miles. Parking is a premium at Hessie so our shuttle supplements the parking for the hikers. Last year we carried 36,000 people in 19 weekends. Last year we regularly saw foxes, deer and Moose. It's world class scenery and the crowd is happy to be there. We want chill, kind, nice half-full people. Local knowledge is helpful. We load and carry people and dogs to a trailhead. They are here for a fun, stress-free time and so are we. Fine Print: For driving jobs you must be 23 years of age. Drivers require a pre-employment drug screen and participation in a random drug and alcohol lottery check throughout the season. Drivers must agree to a background check, have a good driving record, provide an MVR and get a DOT medical card ($50). For Coordinator /Ambassador jobs you must be 18 years of age and be good with people
