PALM DESERT, CA — With performances from Doja Cat, Joji, The Weeknd and Swedish House Mafia, Coachella 2022 officially came to a close on Sunday. Despite battling dust, hot desert temperatures, crowds and 14 hour days, thousands of fans packed in for the final day of Coachella in their Sunday best. The Weeknd and Swedish House Mafia closed out the iconic festival, but you could still hear Kanye's name in the crowd throughout the day. DJ Dom Dolla even did a tribute to the rap icon who pulled out of the festival last minute. Joji returned to the Outdoor Theater after pushing through health issues last weekend, a performance that got Twitter in a stir. Many criticized the festival for asking Joji to perform through health issues, but the singer seemed to be in good health Weekend 2. Doja Cat gave a predictably grand show with five costume changes and tons of brightly costumed dancers. The singer surprised fans with special guests Rico Nasty and Tyga. Karol G hit the main stage Sunday evening for a crowd full of bright blue wigs. Jessie Reyez gave a heartfelt and vulnerable performance of her song 'Gatekeeper,' which tells the story of a time early in her career when she was asked to exchange sexual favors for representation. Finneas took the stage Sunday for his own set after playing in his sister Billie Eilish's headlining set Saturday evening. The siblings shared a heartfelt moment Saturday with an acoustic song at the front of the stage. Check out Patch's coverage of Day 1 and Day 2.
