ST. MICHAEL, MN — Drivers using Interstate 94 in the St. Michael area should be prepared for overnight closures this weekend, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation. Crews resumed work in April on I-94 between St. Michael and Albertville, aiming to finish work on the southbound side of the Highway 241 bridge, repair a barrier and clean up work areas. It's also set to prompt an overnight closure Sunday into Monday, according to transportation officials. The I-94 westbound off-ramp to Highway 241 North is scheduled to close from 9 p.m. Sunday until 5 a.m. Monday. Drivers will be directed to use the off-ramp to Highway 241 South and the roundabout at O'Day Avenue to reach the northbound lanes of Highway 241, according to traffic-control plans.
