GRESHAM, OR — Gresham voters have a new resource to make doing their civil duty easier. Multnomah County opened a new Voting Center Express on Monday. The center is meant to be a one-stop place for voters as May 17's primary election day approaches, the county said. Voters will be able to replace a lost or damaged ballot, update voting registration information, get assistance in English or another language and get help if they have a disability, according to the county. County election officials sad that the center is inside the Multnomah County East Building, 600 NE Eighth St. It's located by the Gresham Transit Center and is open from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Voters can drop ballots off during business hours. For those looking to cast their votes outside of business hours, there's a 24-hour official drop site in the parking lot of the Gresham Library at 385 NW Miller Ave. The county said that the Multnomah County elections office at 1040 SE Morrison St. in Portland will also be open as usual to assist voters.
