Description
My daughter and her two small children recently moved into my house due to financial difficulties.
My two dogs apparently do not like little kids and my Shitzu has nipped my grandson several times.
We do have tried several ways to make this work but it’s not getting any better and we have decided to try and rehome my dogs.
“Macy” is 9 years old. Female, spayed. She is the favorite dog I’ve ever owned and really loves older children and adults. Not so much small kids. She has a genetic condition called collapsing trachea which is common in small dogs and is not life threatening. She does not take any meds for this.
“Bear” is Macy’s only child, he is 7 years old and neutered. He’s probably one of the ugliest dogs but so adorable in so many ways. He loves people and attention. No medical problems. He also does not like little kids but has not “nipped” my grandkids yet…..
Macy and Bear need to go to a new home together.
I have called several no kill shelters and they won’t take them because I mentioned they gave nipped the kids and they are now considered “aggressive”.
If I can’t find a new home I will be forced to put them down. Please help.
No cost for rehoming.
