Man Arrested For DUI After Crash: Trumbull PD

TRUMBULL, CT — A Monroe man was arrested for DUI after a crash on Monroe Turnpike near Trefoil Drive Dec. 7, according to police. Manny Goncalves, 40, went to make a left turn onto Trefoil Drive when his car collided with another, police said. He refused medical treatment and failed a field sobriety test. He was taken to police headquarters where he refused a breath test, according to police. He was charged with DUI and failure to yield while making a left hand turn.
