CONNECTICUT — A Bridgeport woman was charged with cruelty to animals after she let her small dog loose in the Trumbull mall parking lot, according to police. A Trumbull animal control officer managed to capture the dog and bring it to the animal control center. The dog had a microchip and the officer was able to contact the owner. The owner, Agnes Shypula, 70, told police the dog barked too much and her neighbors would often complain, so she decided to let the dog loose in the mall parking lot, according to police.
