CONNECTICUT — A Bridgeport man was charged with trying to lift a toddler out of a high chair at the Trumbull mall food court, according to police. A state judge ordered that he undergo a psychiatric evaluation.
Alexie Garcia, 34, was charged with risk of injury to a minor, breach of peace and interfering with police, according to the Connecticut Post.
A family was sitting in the food court when Garcia walked up to an 18-month-old boy and tried to grab him out of his high chair Aug. 8, police said. Garcia ran away and was later arrested by police.
