TRUMBULL, CT — A Trumbull man was arrested after he poured shampoo on officers and ran away in just a towel after a domestic incident, according to police. Officers were called to a residence Oct. 23. A woman said that she and Kenneth Voight, 38, got into a verbal argument and that he broke items in the house. He knocked a phone out of her hand as she tried to call 911, police said. Police arrived to find Voight taking a shower and told him to turn off the water and come out. Voight refused to cooperate and dumped shampoo on the officers and on the floor, police said. He then shut the door and jumped out of the bathroom window while only wearing a towel. Voight was found a few streets away and was arrested. He was charged with third-degree criminal mischief, interfering with police, assault on a police officer, disorderly conduct and interfering with a 911 call. He was held in lieu of $50,000 bail.
