Acoustc jams in the park

My name is Allen and I'm a 63-year-old singer-songwriter. I've been writing and playing in bands (mostly for fun) for more than 50 years. I play mainly guitar, but I've also played bass, and drums in different bands throughout my musical career. On 4/24 I held the first of these jams at the park and it went pretty well. The plan was for everyone to take turns writing the cords of their song on a whiteboard to make it easy for everyone to follow along as everyone took turns playing something they like. I'm not sure if I'll continue these jams or not - if they'll be electric jams in the future or maybe even some type of open mic, but I'd like to hear from other musicians as to if they have an interest in something like this as I move forward. The jam I had was on a Sunday at noon and that was a pretty good day/time to do something like this. I play mostly top 40 - 50s - 2000s rock and would like to play stuff that's not super complicated, but I'm open to all styles and can play along to just about anything.
