The primary purpose of the Rotating Floor Care Technician is to perform the day-to-day maintenance of all carpeted and hard flooring surfaces, including but not limited to marble, wood, laminate, etc., in the facility. Also responsible for performing preventative maintenance on special floor equipment. • Clean and maintain floors and carpeted areas • Identifies damaged areas in need of repairs • Assist with cleaning tasks as assigned (including bathroom) • Organize supplies and equipment • Follow safety guidelines when carrying out cleaning tasks and ensure that solvents and chemical cleaners are used according to safety regulations and guidelines • Use appropriate customer and product specifications to assemble and fabricate parts and engines for cleaning equipment Benefits: • $750 Sign on Bonus • Referral Bonus • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Requirements: • 2+ years’ successful demonstrated/documented flooring care and cleaning experience preferred • Detail oriented • Self-motivated with the ability to work alone or as a team member on a broad variety of projects • Ability to work extended hours and a varied work schedule as required until the job is done and tasks are all completed • Ability to write, and follow instructions and read the English language • Ability to demonstrate moral character, honesty, tact, fairness, patience, lack of prejudice and desire to help when dealing with people of varying social, cultural and economic backgrounds; creates and promotes a harmonious work environment • High School Diploma; related college coursework preferred • Clean drug screen and background records at all times REQUIRED by contract
