TRUMBULL, CT — The Trumbull Food Pantry won't be accepting food donations or hosting holiday food drives this year due to the coronavirus pandemic and is instead asking for donations in the form of cash or gift cards to grocery stores. Donations can be mailed to the Department of Human Services at 23 Priscilla Place, Trumbull, CT 06611. Checks should be made payable to Trumbull Human Services. Feeding America, which supports 200 food banks across the country, estimates that in 2020, more than 50 million Americans will not have enough nutritious food to eat due to the effects of the coronavirus pandemic.
