Warehouse Maintenance Technician

We are a design / build shop that specializes in custom CNC projects working with a wide range of materials. We have been in business since 2013 and are growing. Therefore, we are looking to expand our core team with a Warehouse Maintenance Technician. A Warehouse Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the warehouse, including- warehouse repairs, machine maintenance, preparing shipments, receiving shipments, organizing warehouse supplies and submitting restocking requests, providing production support to production manager and machine operators. Duties and Responsibilities: - Maintain the inventory through organizing, cleaning and managing restock items on a regular basis - Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks on the building, machines, tooling and equipment to keep all in good working order so they are always ready to be used - Maintain records on any repairs or inspections completed on the building, machines and equipment - Communicate what needs to be repaired with management and support 3rd party vendors with repairs when necessary - Prepare outgoing shipments / deliveries - Receive shipments and organize incoming materials - Lift and move heavy items using forklift / heavy equipment, ie. steel and wood and request additional help when necessary - Verify dimensions, quantities, product quality and specifications upon arrival / delivery to ensure items are as ordered - Support the production manager and the machine operators to meet production deadlines - Open to learning machine operation in the future Requirements: - Forklift certification preferred - 3 years forklift experience in a warehouse setting - Familiarity with the machining and fabrication industry - Familiarity with warehouse safety protocols - High school diploma or equivalent - Able to multitask - Strong communication skills - Good organizational skills - Good analytical and problem solving skills - Maintain professionalism when working with clients Details: Base Rate - $18 and up based on experience Full Time, 8am - 4:30pm 1 Week paid vacation every calendar year 5 Paid Holiday (Starting after 60 days of employment) Medical Benefits (Optional after 60 days of employment)
