Description

Someone I used to dog sit for surrendered their senior dog (13 years old) to me because they were not able to take care of them anymore. I decided to take her in and find her a home, because I knew the owner did not take care of her very well and knew they would just surrender her to any shelter if I did not take her. She is incredibly sweet, still young at heart, loves walks, and loves to follow you around the house and cuddle with you when you sit down. I recently took her to my vet to get checked out because she has a large lump/mass on her back hind leg. The vet told me that it could be a fatty mass that just kept getting bigger, but at her age putting her under anesthesia and removing it would be risky. Since it is not bothering her or seems to be in any pain, the vet advised that she might have to live with the lump and give pain meds if she starts feeling any sort of discomfort. Other than that, she is a healthy, playful pup. I cannot take care of her but am helping find her a forever home because if I take her to any shelter her chances are not so good because she is older and has a lump. She is so sweet and deserves a chance at a loving home for the rest of her life! Fast facts about this sweety: - Has a large lump on her back hind leg that doesn't seem to bother her but her previous owner did not take care of it and it got too big, now she has to live with it - Still has lots of energy, loves walks and playing - Good with kids, other dogs, and strangers $50 rehoming fee to ensure she goes to a loving home
