We are looking for Drivers. CDL and Non- CDL. We are Green Ride Charter Services and are looking for part-time drivers. We are local and have been around for 10 years. We are hiring for seasonal work. We service the Hessie Trail with shuttle services from Nederland High to the Hessie Trailhead. We have shifts starting throughout the day from 6 to 9.5 hours. Pay is $20 to $22 an hour plus nominal tips. This is for Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Holiday Mondays through mid October Work 1, 2 or 3 days. We can try and custom fit your needs to help supplement your income or help keep you busy. Retirees are welcome. We office in Boulder. We shuttle Hessie in 14 passenger vehicles that don't require a commercial license. We also have events and charter services every weekend and many week days. This is for drivers who have a CDL and a passenger endorsement. Pay is $15 plus built-in gratuity which is 15% of the hired service price. For charter services we automatically build in a 15% gratuity beyond what the customer may add on. Our summer charter dates are already selling out. We had record charter year last year and we have added shuttles to our fleet to meet this year’s demand There is great money here for a few hours work and our drivers last year were working short hours over 2 or 3 days and making over $500 a week in tips plus wages. Our big wedding and event shuttles are 25 to 29 passenger buses so to drive these charter vehicles one needs a commercial Driver’s License Type C with a passenger endorsement. No air brakes. If you currently drive a school bus your License is more than enough. Please note we do train divers to get their Class C commercial driver’s license- this is a conversation to be had at the job interview. We realize that McDonalds is hiring at $18 plus an hour… for graveyard- read the fine print-, and that’s an option. What we are is a local business that is honest, kind, fair and transparent- plus you won’t go home with greasy hair. We know it’s an employee’s market right now- lots of choices so it’s your call but we are a great supplemental income opportunity. And we can work you on your schedule. You must pass a pre-employment drug screen. If you have a commercial Driver's license and are driving our 25 passenger shuttles you are required by the DOT to enter in a random drug pool- but you knew that if you have the license. To drive Charters in Colorado, the PUC requires you to have you fingerprints taken and we must run a background check on you as well. Every Driver must get a DOT card-$50- $100. We have a guy who comes to us and does the testing for $50. Those are all the government's vetting. There will be a couple of out of pocket expenses. DOT card, Finger Printing and MVR. Should be less than $100. Green Ride Charter services may be willing to front these expenses and take it out of you first 2 checks if that would help.
