Description
Hi! I am unfortunately needing to find a new home to my service dog in training. She’s around 2 years old, 40lbs and fixed. She’s a small size standard poodle and is purebred. Recently I have realized that I need a bigger dog for mobility tasks and sadly she is not big enough to support my weight. I will be very picky about who she goes with since she’s had a lot of training hours put into her and is an excellent dog.
She’s extremely well socialized. She gets along with dogs (big or small), people, cats, other animals and kids. She is solid on her basic obedience and almost perfect on outings to pet friendly stores.
What she knows and how reliable she is :
- Sit 100%
- Down 100%
- Stay 80%
- Wait 100%
- Recall 90%
- Loose leash walking 90%
- Off leash walking 80%
- Leave it 90%
- Settle 70%
- Paw 100%
- Touch 90%
- Roll over 100%
- Kennel trained 100%
- Potty trained 100%
- Go potty 100%
- Focus or « Watch me » 70%
She does have a few cons that is worth considering :
- She barks once or twice when someone knocks at the door. (Usually settles when told)
- She gets excited meeting new people.
- She’s energetic and needs at least an hour walk a day or two 30mins walks.
- She needs work on keeping focus on handler around distractions.
She’s a very sweet dog and I’m sad to have to let her go but I’m hoping she will be able to help someone else live a better life. For more info and pictures/videos of training send me a message and we can discuss a fair price.
