Kickball Umpire Needed

Kickball umpires for the Spring and summer season are required to work on Wednesdays. Successful candidates will assist the company in helping our games run smoothly, while reminding our members to just have a good time and enjoy the social aspect of our leagues. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES INCLUDE: • Manage all on-field logistics including: timely set-up, start and completion of games • Umpire 2-3 games/week • Resolve on-field disputes between teams • Work with the S3 staff to improve the quality of our leagues • Learn S3 Leagues Rules • Attend umpire training session REQUIRED: • Commit to entire season • Have a basic understanding of softball/knowledge of calls • Excellent communication and problem solving skills • Ability to handle conflict diplomatically • Be fun, social and personable PREFERRED: • Previous experience as an umpire, referee or customer service • Ideal candidates should be young professionals living in the Boston area with interest in softball TO APPLY: Send your resume to: info (at) s3boston.com.
