FREE VINTAGE RADIO
I have a Zenith 12H689 radio/phono (home entertainment center of years gone by) from 1942. I had intentions of restoring it, but life got in the way. It hasn’t been turned on for a couple of years, but the radio did work. Only 1 or 2 stations. Probably needs some alignment or ?? The phonograph (changer) is beyond repair unless you are able to machine some parts. It looks ok from the top. A more modern turntable could be put in. I have replaced the speaker and a few parts in the radio. Also done a little repair on the cabinet.
If you are looking for a cool display piece, a little refinishing and grille cloth replacement and you are done. It you remember how glo-fets (vacuum tubes) work, or want to learn, this could be made to work like new. The tuning dial is a mechanical marvel and must be seen to appreciate. I have the schematics that are available.

Best of all, it is FREE to the first person to come pick it up. That is part of the list of things I agreed to in exchange for being allowed to get a certain Poodle puppy.
I need to move it out ASAP
