Excavation Tech Needed $1000 signing bonus! Eligible for a daily bonus plan after 90-day introductory plan (estimated $3/hour additional pay!) Looking for a great career with a growing company? Have a CDL and mad skills operating heavy equipment and aren't afraid to do some hard work? Our field technicians (Excavation Technicians) are responsible for the performance of tasks associated with surveying the project site to study and analyze a variety of conditions, including the slope of the land, types of soil, distance to human or wildlife populations and underlying facilities or structures. The technicians safely and skillfully operate heavy equipment to complete the project. Employees locate and repair broken drain lines among other tasks. Key Responsibilities • Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all time • Performs non-emergency and emergency response activities • Provide customer service and quality work that exceeds customer expectations • Performs labor intensive activities in all weather conditions throughout the day • Operates light and heavy equipment including: skid steers, forklifts, excavators and vacuum equipment Job Requirements • 6 months' construction or general labor experience and be able to pass a background check and drug test • Valid CDL Driver's License and Clean Motor Vehicle Record • Safety oriented mindset with the determination to follow all procedures and policies • Ability and willingness to work on an occasional on-call basis • High school diploma or equivalent • Ability to work independently • Ability to read, understand and complete scopes of work with limited supervision • Mechanical aptitude • Ability to lift 75 lbs.
