We are looking for a capable HVAC Shop Assistant to support our company’s warehouse operations. Responsibilities: Process, package and ship orders accurately Inspect products for defects and damages Organize warehouse space Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately General maintenance of building and parking lot area (keeping grounds free of trash, shoveling, etc. when necessary) Various tasks assigned by management Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures Keep warehouse clean and organized daily Requirements: Trade shop experience (preferred) Ability to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment Familiar with warehouse practices and methods Team player with organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently Ability to lift or move heavy products Must be at least 18 years old Must have valid Driver’s License Must have (or be able to obtain) DOT certification card High school diploma Must pass criminal background check and drug screening Drug Free Workplace Full-time Paid holidays PTO 401k Insurance (medical, vision, dental, life, disability)
