Seeking 6 seasonal contract crew members for the 2022 Sockeye Salmon fishing season from early June to end of July. Come on a remote Alaskan adventure while learning new skills in the commercial fishing industry in Bristol Bay, Alaska. Room and board is provided in shared oceanfront crew cabins. Job Details: $500 USD Rate Per Week at Minimum Free Room and Board Covered Airfare (contingent upon completion of contract terms) Qualifications: US Work Authorization 18+ Job Duties: Be available for on-call fluctuating work schedule based on tides Working salmon nets and offloading Assist with daily small projects and tasks within camp and on fishing sites Cleaning and maintaining equipment and tools Skills and Abilities: Experience with physically demanding work (preferred) Able to work in various weather conditions and on uneven/slippery surfaces Follows instruction and performs duties safely Responsible, takes initiative, and works well with others Adapts to remote environments without internet access and limited phone service
