Found lost dog

Description

We found this sweet girl roaming in our neighbor's yard last Friday (4/15). Since the neighbor was going to call Animal Control, we decided to bring the dog to our house, in hopes of finding the owner (s), since we live in a relatively small neighborhood and area, in Altavista. After calling around, posting signs, asking neighbors if they recognized her, and posting in our local Neighborhood App, we still have not found this sweet girl's owners. She is staying in our yard to avoid an accident, since we have 7 fur babies of our own inside-- including 2 that are very territorial. Again, she was found the evening of 4/15, and she was wearing a blue collar. She seemed neatly groomed, was tick and flea free, and her nails were trimmed, so we believe that she was an inside dog. We think she is around a year old, or just slightly younger. She also has a very unique feature: heterochromia, which means that she has one brown eye, and one blue eye, and she is medium sized. She is super smart, playful, and friendly, but I'm sure she wants to be back with her family! We have called all local shelters, such as Lynchburg Humane Society, and none of them have vacancies. Our last resort, if we can't find her owner's, is to call Campbell County Animal Control, which we are trying to avoid. If anyone has any suggestions, we are open to them.
