This is a 3.0 CEU workshop addressing the topic Substance Abuse, Co-Dependency, & Family Systems Across Generations presented by Rusty Gillette LPC, LADC. This event meets continuing education (CE) needs of Licensed Marital and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselors (LADCs) and Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs) as set forth by the Oklahoma State Board of Behavioral Health Licensure (BBHL). This informative workshop will give the participants new insight into the correlation between Co-dependency, Addiction and how it affects the family system. As we progress through the workshop the participants will be shown through the use of the Bowen Theory how the amount of Fusion that an individual attaches to the family system will affect how well they will become autonomous as adults. The presenter will also use the Genogram to show how the family operates as a system over many generations.
Advanced registration required, $50 per participant. Coffee & snacks will be provided.
