The Glenn Garcelon Foundation’s benefit dinner will raise funds to provide assistance to the brain tumor community. The mission of the Glenn Garcelon Foundation is to empower and support brain tumor patients and their families by awarding grants to help with expenses that are beyond their means. The goal is to ease some of the financial burden that often adds to the stress of a brain tumor diagnosis and treatment. Since 2012, the non-profit has issued grants to over 470 brain tumor patients and provided help with rent, mortgage, utilities, insurance, medical bills, transportation and lodging while receiving treatments, and durable medical equipment. The Glenn Garcelon Foundation raises money to support its mission by hosting fundraisers and receiving outright donations. Without the support of the community, it would not be able to continue its work.
