Take part in our YTT Challenge Day for your chance to earn a spot (and a paid position) on our Youth Tree Team this summer. We're looking to add a few members to our Youth Tree Team for the Summer 2022 season! YTT employs local teens to improve their neighborhood, to learn about green jobs, and to teach them about the environment. The teens get their first work experience by maintaining trees and public green spaces, conducting community outreach, and attending “green collar” enrichment activities. Youth applicants must be currently enrolled in high school or be matriculating into high school as of June 1st, and be at least 14 years of age to be eligible. For Challenge Day, we will meet at The Community Grove in Delray Beach, where applicants will take part in a variety of activities to help us determine which individuals will be hired as Youth Tree Team members. Please be sure to wear closed toed shoes, as well as attire that you can easily move/run around in, and may get a little dirty. Hats & sunscreen are also suggested. Check-in will begin promptly at 4pm. Please do not be late. We will have water & snacks for all participants. Please be sure to submit your YTT Application as well.
