Description
I’m going to be very honest and say that I’m going to be extremely picky on who I re-home my dog do. I do not want to give her up, I love her, but I also feel that she could have a better life with someone else.
Meet, Luna. She is a 9 month old German shepherd mix at just under 60 pounds. She is a very sweet girl and full of energy. She gets along well with other dogs but sometimes a slow introduction is best as she gets scared if they just come right up to her if she doesn’t know them. Same with people, too many new people at once and she’s anxious. She has also lived with two cats, and although she has never hurt them she does try to play with them and chases them around which they do not like. She’s been around kids but has never lived with young kids. She’s a jumper so that’s something to consider if you have little ones.
She’s crates trained, and potty trained. I’ve been working with her on the leash but she has a ways to go. She also does not like to use the Bathroom on walks which makes it hard to travel. I’ve been encouraging her with treats but nothing yet. She has also gotten car sick a few times. If she’s able to have her head out the window it helps and I have been giving her calming treats before long rides.
Things to remember is that she’s still a puppy and will need a lot more training. A fenced yard for her to run in is a must, and someone who has the time and patience to help her be a good girl.
Please, serious inquiries only. She will stay with me until the perfect home is found. I also prefer you to have experience with dogs and this breed. Email me for any questions.
