Rehoming my cat

Description

Hi- I am currently making a post to see if there is anyone interested in providing a new forever home to my best buddy Hermes. It's really hard to have to do this, but my 2 year partner has been struggling with allergies and has gone to extensive lengths to try to adapt, including letting him stay with a close friend for 9 months and taking allergy shots. Given that her allergies are asthmatic and skin related, I am reluctant to ask her to further suffer since she has already done a great deal. I have since moved him back to our current residence, and she is still having these issues with Hermes. About Hermes- I have had him for about 5 years now (he is probably about 7 years old, but his age was not certain when I adopted him), and he is a very sweet cat, though is probably a best fit to be an only cat. I adopted him from a shelter, and I believe he had some food issues in the past because he is competitive around food with other cats. He is a great friendly cat, can be a bit talkative at times but will chill with you and give you plenty of snuggles. He is neutered and in general good health, though I have not taken him to the vet in a year given the challenges around my partner's allergies. I could rehome him with his litterbox and other assorted equipment and supplies. I would ask for a small fee for commitment and other costs, but this is negotiable. I am keeping this post short, but will provide additional details to serious replies over the phone. Please provide details about your situation with your response along with a number that I can reach you at.
