Merrimack College Reports 7 Positive Coronavirus Tests In A Week

NORTH ANDOVER, MA – Merrimack College has released its weekly coronavirus test results as it remains below a 1 percent positivity rate for cases on campus. For the week between Sept. 9 and Sept. 14, the college performed 4,136 COVID-19 tests and returned 4,129 negative tests. This reflected a 99.83 percent negativity rate. There were seven positive COVID-19 tests for that time period at the college, according to the dashboard. This reflects a .0169 positivity rate. For the fall semester to date, the college has performed a total of 17,457 COVID-19 tests and returned 17,442 negative tests. This reflects an overall 99.91 percent negativity test. Overall, the college has returned 15 positive COVID-19 tests. This reflects a .086 percent positivity rate.
