NORTH ANDOVER, MA — Thousands were without power in North Andover, Thursday afternoon, in a brief outage.
The cause of the outage has not been reported. As of 1:10 p.m., 2790 customers were without power, or 22 percent of the town. Just half an hour later, only 94 remained without power, according to the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency.
According to the town, National Grid was on the scene as of 1 p.m., and the outage was expected to last three to four hours.
