About Our Speakers: Bill Warner Bill Warner is co-founder and Executive Director of EntreDot, a business mentoring nonprofit organization that assists entrepreneurs who are starting and operating their own businesses, both tech and non-tech. Bill is also Fund Executive of IMAF-RTP, an angel investor seed fund investing in start-up technology and life science companies. Bill has more than thirty-eight years of experience in the computer industry, with over 20 years as a CEO and general manager responsible for computer software and hardware businesses. He most recently served as President and CEO of LiveWire Logic, an early-stage customer relationship management software company in the service and support market. Previously, he was Executive Vice President of Products and Services at Dialogic, an Intel Company, and a $400M computer telephony company headquartered in New Jersey. Prior to that, he completed a 30-year career at IBM and held senior executive positions at SystemSoft and Banyan Systems. Bill is a veteran, having served as a US Army officer. Jim Roberts Jim Roberts has worked in entrepreneur development for 20 years in Charlotte, Asheville, Durham and Wilmington. Jim started the UNC Wilmington CIE incubator as Founding Executive Director, restarted the Coastal Connect Startup and Capital Conference, started Network for Entrepreneurs in Wilmington (NEW), Wilmington Angels for Local Entrepreneurs (WALE Angel Network) and led expansion of Bunker Labs into Wilmington. Jim also has his own podcast called 3 Sips of Advice. Jim serves on several state committees for NC IDEA, NC Tech Association, CED and 1 Million Cups. Jim also has his own consulting service called Rojo Octo Ecosystem consulting and is working in Myrtle Beach. Wilmington NC is now the 3rd highest ranked ecosystem in North Carolina and globally ranked by two different reports. Jim’s work has been highlighted on national PBS TV, Entrepreneur Magazine and in media throughout the Southeast. Tom Rump Tom Rump is the CEO of mesur.io, a B2B SaaS company, providing the autoML based Earthstream® Platform to solve issues that impact our ability to feed and clothe all people. He is an accomplished executive in the technology sector, having held senior executive positions at IBM, Wolters Kluwer, and Stanford University. Tom has excelled at setting strategy and goals, establishing operational roadmaps, managing cross functional/multi-cultural teams, creating outstanding customer experiences, and most importantly delivering results. To date he has applied his strategic leadership experience and hands-on management skill set from Fortune 50 companies to Early-Stage Startups.
