Pet care professional seeking trade for housing

Description

Howdy. I'm a 31-year-old professional pet/house/farm sitter residing in Sacramento at the moment. I'm moving to the area to start CPH's wildlife program in a couple of months but I'm having a hard time finding housing with pets of my own since apparently animals aren't allowed anywhere anymore. (Wow alliteration). I can offer extensive animal care in exchange for free or discounted housing. I have worked with dogs since 2014, trainers since 2018, have a veterinary assistant certification, and have been operating as a sole proprietor for the last several years. Most of my clients down here are trainers or have land so I love a good working dog the most (don't tell the doodles). House sitting is included in my work, so I can offer that too if you don't have animals. I'm also pretty handy and love to work on my house/space. Decently green thumb, able to follow instructions. Nothing against kids but I am not offering childcare. Just homes, plants, and animals. I have plenty of reviews across social media and google that I can share. If this sounds like something you're looking for, here's some more info: Credit is over 700. Good rental history, no evictions. I'm a very tidy and respectful person and generally keep to myself. My dog is CGC certified and extremely well behaved, you'd hardly even know she's around. The cat is old and just naps all day. They're both extremely sweet and gentle. I would want my own private space as I am an older student and have everything for a 1-bedroom apartment or studio... and I'm tired of sharing a bathroom with someone, to be honest. I just want a quiet place to study and live with my animals while I'm in school. An in-law unit or something similar would be perfect. I will be a full-time student, so manual labor could only be about 20 hrs a week. Ideally it would be a long-term situation so I wouldn't have to get up and move again before I graduate. I am lgbtq, regular 420 but usually vape, nature-loving, animal-hugging weirdo that's pretty easy to get along with. Fully vaxxed and gotta get boosted soon. The pets are up to date on their vaccines as well. I hope to hear from some of you lovely Humboldt folks! Email only. -S
