Join us for a conversation about mental health geared for youth and their parents/caregivers!
All young people need resources and people in their lives to help build resilience (the strength to handle life's ups and downs). But what does that look like practically? Join us in welcoming Chelsea Walker from CHOA's Strong4Life program as she shares with parents/caregivings the building blocks for fostering resilience in young people. While the parents hear from CHOA, our students will engage with Bryan Stickney, LMSW and former staff member Ashley Zimmerman, LPC, NCC. They will take a more hands-on approach in sharing with our young people how to recognize and attend to their mental health needs. Following these conversations, families are invited to share a comfort-food meal together. The cost of the event (dinner included) is $15 per family. We hope you join us for this special evening!
