Covid has made for tough and personal decisions - especially for working parents of small children. SMART START Young Learners understands and has creatively adapted to help local families. These uncertain times make for well informed decisions especially around childcare and schooling for children. At SMART START young learners we know these decisions are not easy. SMART START has always and will continue to keep safety and education a priority for our students and families. SMART START is a home based educational environment for preschoolers and kindergarteners full of hands-on learning and project play based activities held in both our indoor and outdoor classrooms. Run by Ms. Mary and Miss Francesca a mother-daughter duo who design and teach their own curriculum based on Montessori, Waldorf and Reggio Emilia philosophies. Mary home educated her own children and Francesca is now a post graduate student at Boston College. SMART START is currently enrolling for the academic year. When schools closed due to COVID- 19, SMART START launched Stream to Learn. This online program kept preschool and kindergarten aged children educated, engaged, enriched and thriving while spending time with peers in a virtual environment. SMART START develops the whole child and instills a desire for lifelong learning in all we do. Unsure of what you will be doing this Fall - in person or online? Small group or private tutoring?
