In Home Support Services (San Francisco, Mid Richmond district) compensation: $18.50 per hour plus benefits, which include health insurance (medical, dental & glasses, also sick pay and union benefits) which you receive by maintaining 21 hours per month after you have worked 100 hours. IN Home Support Services worker needed for a gay male couple. One of us is an active wheelchair bound person who is currently in the process of heading back to work and needs light help, the other has end-stage liver disease, diabetes and Parkinson’s. We are looking for someone willing to work Tues, Thurs, Sat & Sunday 7:30am 3:30pm being on time (on time to us means 15 mins early) is very important to help maintain schedule for the gentleman with diabetes and also open to working with our other care provider to fill in as needed This position would give you a guaranteed 24 hours per week Helping with medication management, FOOD PREP & COOKING are very important, cleaning, vacuuming, assisting with dog walks and dog care. The person who is a good is fit for this job needs to be a SELF STARTER and proficient in food preparation and cooking, good with dogs preferably some experience Looking for a long term care provider for both myself and my husband. The care will mostly be for my husband who has end stage liver disease & awaiting a LIVER TRANSPLANT, someone with medical knowledge or a desire to learn medical information is preferred. Being able to read English as there are list of the needs for one is necessary but if you are willing to work on becoming more proficient then we are willing to work with you. Must not have criminal convictions and must be willing to sign up with IHSS. Salary: Info provided during IHSS certification Looking for someone who is active as we go out 2x a day with our dog and the wheelchair bound gentleman has a manual wheelchair we generally walk about 1-1½ miles per day. Most area flat with exception of dog play area in Mountain Lake park. This is a position that we are looking for a long term person.
