The girls gymnastics team won the DCL dual regular-season champion award and are the DCL champion for the eighth year in a row. The team will becompeting Saturday, Feb. 22, at the North Sectional. Congratulations to the following gymnasts on qualifying for the state individual meet.
Coach Calzone says: "It is a very competitive meet to qualify for and it shows the gymnasts hard work over the season."
All Around: Bella Valente, Lila Sherman, and Dalani Ramos. Vault: Claire Slack and Anna Zeren. Bars: Arielle Cohen-Oliveira, Shanna Lacey and Anna Zeren. Beam: Claire Slack. Floor: Claire Slack. The 2020 State Girls Gymnastic Individual Championship will be held at Tewksbury High School on Monday, February 17.
All-Around Competition: 1 p.m. Individual Events: 4:30 p.m.
