From the Newton South High School PTSO: Posted Feb. 14, 2020 Despite the rain and thin snow cover, the Alpine Ski Team completed their final slalom race of the season. The girls team once again took first place by 17 points over their next closest competitor, AB. That leaves the girls with a 35-1 record for the season, a landmark achievement. The boys placed third again and, again, narrowly missed second place by a margin of four points. The boys ended their season with a 21-15 record, which placed them in fourth place overall. A big shout out to Saylor Flannery, Maddie Bray, Charlotte Doran, Masie Abbiati, Logan Flannery and Roey Lashem who are heading to the state championships.
